Dr. Jill Self-Pike
When you meet Dr. Jill Self-Pike, you’ll be just as excited as we are that she is still part of our team after four years! Another Southside High School graduate from Fort Smith, “Dr. Jill” sees dentistry as a way to “give back her gift to people.” Upon finishing dental school, she was committed to helping those patients in need of dental care, but with financial challenges or state assistance. As a result, she practices part-time at the Community Clinic in Rogers.
After her undergraduate education had been completed at the University of Arkansas, Dr. Jill met her husband-to-be in Fayetteville. She went on to graduate from Louisville Dental School and then they were married. They love Indian food and any kind of sushi, and Dr. Jill has a weakness for chocolate cheesecake.

The past few years have been full of change for Dr. Jill: besides graduating from dental school and getting married, she began a dental practice and started a family! She and her husband are now the happy parents of John Samuel, who is five years old, and daughter Lily, just over one year. “Hanging out” with her family and spending time outside are her favorite activities. She and John Samuel are going to take guitar lessons together, too!
Having children has taught her a lot about God’s love for us. Her favorite book is Crazy Love, by Francis Chan. This past year, Dr. Jill went on a mission trip to La Limonada, Guatemala. “It was life-changing,” she declares.

Dr. Self-Pike serves as an appliance technician / general dentist, a position for which she is especially suited, considering her qualifications as a dentist and her extensive experience with the young people at the Community Clinic. She works in the Bentonville office and continues her practice career at that clinic two days a week.
“I had braces in sixth grade,” she says, “and it was a very easy experience [for me.] A beautiful and healthy smile gives people more confidence and it changes their lives…I have seen it change lives,” she says. Dr. Jill enjoys working with her Bentonville team, adding that they are great and a lot of fun to work with. We are blessed to have both her and her team serving our Bentonville patients!
