Both Steve and Earl [the “magic behind the counter” - otherwise known as the cook] were proud to show off the very clean dining and kitchen areas. They even let Dr. P peek into the freezer and check out the office area. The restaurant was located in a residential area and was decorated with more of an “upscale” touch. Artistic wall hangings and smooth jazz completed the ambiance. | ![]() |

Believe it or not, Earl was expecting the ‘Nator! He had gotten an email [or some sort of warning] from corporate headquarters that someone would show up to check out their store soon. Maybe he thought Dr. P was some type of “phantom shopper!” Of course, anyone who knows Dr. P would realize he is not secretive at all about his Roly Poly fixation! | ![]() |

After he autographed the ‘Nator shirt, Steve visited with the other guests while Dr. P sampled more of the hot sandwiches. The Hickory Cristo, #38, earned a 4.5 star rating – very high, according to ‘Nator standards. But the Steak Fajita, #19, and Chicken Cordon Bleu, #37, both earned an unprecedented "double" 5 stars! [A five star rating is when the 'Nator's eyes roll back into his head.] | ![]() |

Since two sandwiches with five star ratings were discovered in one visit, Steve and Earl were both very pleased. Dr. P and Mary Ann thoroughly enjoyed their lunch and headed out to Mall of America to spend the afternoon. This store was our favorite one of all – even better than the
