Jennifer Harding

“One of the things I'm passionate about is excellent orthodontic care for our patients," says team member Jennifer Harding. Dr. P. was her orthodontist when he was practicing in Harrison, AR where she was born. He even trained her as a chairside assistant and appointments coordinator in 1988, when she was a teenager. He is responsible for her smile, and she is grateful for that.

 

This year there was an important addition to the family: Jolie, an American Hairless Terrier, joined Jennifer’s husband, Matthew, and their children, Sarai and Jon. Together they are a game-playing, bike-riding, movie-watching family. Jennifer's personal favorite movie is "While You Were Sleeping." She loves watching Survivor, The Amazing Race and American Idol, but Tennessee football is her “hands down” favorite! These days, she is also a big fan of watching Shiloh Saints sports. Chris Tomlin, U-2 and any 80’s music are preferred listening and painting pottery or scrapbooking are chosen hobbies. Other "down time" activities include outdoor sports, keeping in touch with friends and eating anywhere that serves Sushi.

 

As our Marketing Coordinator, Jennifer focuses on creative ways to make people aware of our many services. She is constantly brainstorming about new ways to “connect” with the patients and their parents and spread the word about our team.   She is also responsible for those cool “extras” within our practice: Arkansas OrthoCare, the Idol Smiles and Jr. Idol Smiles Contests, Razorbraces wear, SmilePix, and an exciting new online site coming for spring 2009. Her background as a Public Relations major at the University of Arkansas, her natural creativity and her experience building collegiate ministries have prepared her for these additional roles.

A beautiful and healthy smile “makes you not be concerned with the outward appearance,” says Jennifer, “and is the window to who you are.” She is grateful for her big smile and she plans to take good care of it for the rest of her life. What will Jennifer be doing in five years if the choice is hers? “I’ll be watching my kids play high school sports, enjoying time with my husband and family and working hard to come up with the next great marketing idea to make all the different aspects of the office SHINE!”
