Roly Poly-Nator "Roly on the River!"

Episode [ONE] [TWO] [THREE] [FOUR] [FIVE] [SIX] [SEVEN]

Although Dr. P was officially visiting the “Big Easy” [New Orleans] on business, he was able to steal away for a Roly on the River. Even the outside of the restaurant looks laid back, don’t you think?

It was one of our favorite restaurants so far.

No Cajun cuisine here…just the good ‘ole Roly Poly menu.  Pictured here are a couple of the hard-working team members in the kitchen. Dr. P grew up in the Mississippi River Delta and feels right at home in Mississippi River towns.  The music in New Orleans is the "thing" right after the food.  Dr. P has fallen in love with the music of "Queen Doreen". Take a look. It’s another episode of “Roly Poly-Nator meets the Management”: Assistant Managers Scot [left] and Alex join the ranks of other surprised restaurateurs to hear about his quirky quest to visit as many locations as possible. And of course, what can they say when the Roly Poly-Nator leaves the building and says "I'll be back!"

Scot, the assistant manager, records the visit on the Roly Poly-Nator shirt: His name, The location, Store number and the Date.  On this visit, Dr. P taste-tested the "Peachtree Melt” #25 and the “BarBQ Pork Melt” #41.  Both sandwiches scored a “4” on a scale of "5".

Although Dr. P is obsessed with his Roly Polys, nothing trumps grandchildren.  Since Sarai and Jon [the oldest two grandchildren] live only a couple of hours from New Orleans, they came down to enjoy the day with Poppy.  Mmmm…sweet, sweet times in the “Big Easy”…
